Can’t you let us have some peace for the last few years of our lives?

The policy is not fit for purpose and its time someone was held accountable.

Can someone PLEASE take this seriously?

Surely treating elderly people with chronic health problems and disability so badly exposes this policy for what it is – punitive and not about cost-cutting?

How farcical is it to spend all that time and money re-assessing people over 60 who have chronic and DEGENERATIVE health problems?  Putting them through assessment every year for conditions that will never change.  Stressing them and making them sicker……. How can this ever be cost-effective?  How likely are chronically sick and disabled people over 60 to EVER be employable?  Or people with degenerative conditions to magically get better?

Can’t you let us have some peace at least for the last few years of our lives???  Most of us are unlikely to live to any great age?  

Surely, this at least, would be something the Labour Party might take on???

Wasting DWP time and money, doctors, hospitals, therapists…
